What is DOTA?

According to Jazer Cervant, an amateur DOTA gamer and a facebook member. "DOTA is a game until the winner is declared.And I'm addicted to it cause I feel like I am the one who is killing somebody and getting your own pride."

DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) is a well-known strategy game developed by "IceFrog."DOTA is well-known in Europe, America, Asian countries like The Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

DOTA is Dominating!

In The Philippines DOTA is very famous. Elementary, High school, College students know how to play the game.Girl or boy, no exceptions. Even those out of school youths also play the game. Even the old ones like 20-30 years of age were addicted on this game. But what is the good thing about DOTA? We know it's a game and games are for entertainment but 80% of students uses money as a bet on the opponent team. Some students skips their subjects and play DOTA. Based from these information I collected. I can say that DOTA is very influential to those who are addicted on it. The question is, how are students risks their lives, time, and money on playing this game? Students are still on their adolescent stage. They have playful minds. For them, DOTA is a way they could express their feelings. They think that they move as one with their characters as their another image. They feel good when they have killed someone. It's what DOTA used to be, killing and destroying their Ancient towers and buildings. They abuse their money, abuse their time and abuse their lives. They should on forward on their education first for the sake of their parents who work so hard to provide them their allowance and  miscellaneous fees. Students! Learn how to control yourselves. Be aware of your future. We know gaming is not bad but abusing it is also like saying yes. Don't let them take an advantage over us. Do not let them dominate our lives.
